Digital Kids Show

The founders of the Digital Kids Show have confirmed Events Northern Ltd as their new event management partners, coming on board for the 2nd year of this exciting show.
This family exhibition brings together all things digital - top YouTubers, educational apps, robots, coding, hackathons and activities (ice skating, parkour, hoverboard zone, laser tag, dance).
We are looking for passionate, hardworking and reliable volunteers to gain event management experience and assist us with the setup and smooth running of the show at Eventcity in Manchester (next to the Trafford Centre) on Friday 17th, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th November 2017.
We also need skilled dance students to assist with the dance workshop area and activities.

EVENT COORDINATOR REQUIRED - FIXED TERM CONTRACT
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join a small, hardworking team on a fixed term contract until the end of November 2017.
We need an individual who can work from our office in Preston, Lancashire, ideally working full-time hours and starting ASAP. Two part time candidates may be considered if required.
We are looking for someone that is comfortable in a business and high pressured environment, with at least 2 years office work experience.
You must be:
Organized and methodical.
Confident answering the phone and dealing with enquiries.
Have business experience - able to write professional business emails.
Capable of following instructions and briefs and researching information.
Possess excellent attention to detail.
Experience of event management is an advantage.
Able to drive, with access to a vehicle.
Able to work longer hours, including evenings and weekends closer to both events, as required. Must be available to work two full weekends in Manchester across the live event dates (27th - 30th October and 17th - 20th November).
